TOE BY TOE RECOMMENDS

At Home with Dyslexia - Sascha Roos

We recommend this book by Sascha Roos called ‘At Home with Dyslexia - a Parent’s Guide to Supporting Your Child’.

Sascha is based in County Cork, Ireland, and has written a number of books for parents of dyslexic children which we find to be hugely practical and full of common sense tips.

You can find out more at her website dyslexiasupport.ie

"This is by far the best resource I have found as the parent of two dyslexic children. Out of all the documentaries, websites, seminars, podcasts and of course other books I have studied trying to educate myself on how best to support my little ladies, this provides the most relevant and necessary information in the clearest format. It has been great sharing snippets of the book with the girls, especially the view points of other people with dyslexia. Thank you for a great book!" - Amazon Review

“As a grown man of 23, I can honestly say without Toe By Toe I don’t think I would have been able to overcome my dyslexia. Diagnosed as dyslexic at the age of 6, my mother was at her wits end with me until we started using Toe By Toe. Like many other reviews have stated, it took just a few minutes each day over a long time to take effect. By the age of 11 I had a reading age of an 18 year old. Now, I am studying a Masters in Cambridge. A real confidence booster! With a little bit of parental encouragement and a lot of patience it’s possible for anyone to overcome dyslexia.”
